Soy glue
Soy glue
Soy-based adhesives are glues that are made with soy flour and a cross-linking resin. At the moment soy glues are only used in the production of wood composite materials, such as plywood. They are not yet available for the individual woodworker to glue connections.
Soy glues are a promising alternative to synthetic glues, they can be produced for a competitive price and they are formaldehyde free. This is a great improvement for air quality which both benefits wood factory workers and consumers. Stay tuned for soy glue!
